Our mission is to champion the cause of the Voluntary sector in South West Surrey and bring organisations together for this purpose.
ABOUT US: 

What we do...

We provide direct support services and specialist advice to voluntary, community and faith groups in South West Surrey, helping them to carry out their valuable work.

We run local projects to enable under-represented groups to become more active in the community

We help people find the volunteering opportunity that's right for them

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS: 

Smaller charities and organisations struggle to find volunteers, we help them with this.
Charities have few places to turn for free advice and support we can help.
Charities lack opportunities to network and develop joint working initiatives, we provide these opportunities

Our projects support people with mental ill health to volunteer & get involved We run networking meetings to encourage joint working and information sharing We run volunteering skills workshops and training sessions for local charities We provide free advice and support to local charities and organisations. We work with other organisations to set up new projects to fill gaps. We promote volunteering in the local area and encourage more people to do it
HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT: 

We help build confidence and improve knowledge in the local voluntary / community sector through providing targeted support and advice
We have helped increase the number of volunteers and supported volunteers taking up voluntary roles in South West Surrey
We build stronger bonds within the voluntary sector via our networking meetings, training sessions and yearly conference.
