Our mission is to champion and deliver ambitious support and preventative services alongside people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss, enabling them to realise their goals each and every day.

SeeAbility provides extraordinary support and champions better eye care for people with learning disabilities and autism, many of whom have sight loss.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS: 

SeeAbility encourages people with disabilities to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society.

The people we support overcome huge barriers to achieve exciting new things every day: some big, some small, all extraordinary.

They challenge us all to rethink disability.

OUR AWARDS: 
Scott Watkin (SeeAbility's Eye Care & Vision Development Officer) was awarded a British Empire Medal (BME) in 2018.§Ned Saunders ( SeeAbility's Senior Dispensing Optician) won the 'Dispensing Optician of the Year' award in 2017.§SeeAbility was chosen as a Scale Finalist for the London WeWork Creator Awards in 2017.

SeeAbility is a well established and diverse charity with a rich heritage of innovation and specialist services. Our dedicated and passionate team support over 25 people with learning disabilities and autism, many of whom have sight loss, to live extraordinary lives.

We took eight months to carefully work alongside people supported by SeeAbility, their families, our colleagues, commissioners, donors, and volunteers to fully understand the organisational picture and the priorities for each of our stakeholders.
