Lucy already owns the Nest Coffee Shop in Bramley, and as well as being a successful business woman and psychology graduate, is a mum of 2.
Nina is an environmental scientist with a background in marine conservation, running the ocean plastics awareness art program Make Art Not Waste. They have teamed up for this exciting new venture with the purpose of having a positive impact on the world.
Our work matters because, although the majority of people are now aware of the issues related to non-recyclable packaging and single-use plastics, it is currently still very inconvenient to do our day-to-day shopping without it. Therefore, we aim to provide a more Earth- and people-friendly option. We have decided to accompany our zero waste shop with a plant-based café as we would like to create a space for local community members to meet, exchange ideas, attend interesting talks/workshops and learn.
