SI Southern England is part of Soroptimist International, a global organisation that seeks to educate, empower and enable women and girls local nationally and internationally. There are 13 clubs in our area, all working to raise awareness of issues concerning women, supporting good causes and facilitating projects that focus on the needs and aspirations of women and girls.
We believe that women and girls should be encouraged to achieve their potential and enjoy equal opportunities in society. Soroptimist International has representatives at the UN who are recognised as speaking on behalf of women around the world.
A commitment to work together to improve the lives of women and girls globally.
We are a women's organisation, because in many countries, male membership would make it impossible for women to join our clubs.
