South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service
Our Mission (vision) is for every adult and child experiencing domestic abuse to be seen, safe and heard, and free from the harm caused by perpetrator behaviour; can access the right information, services and support at the right time in the right place; are empowered to live lives free from domestic violence or abuse and gain the personal confidence to build healthy relationships for themselves and their dependents.
ABOUT US: 

South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (SWSDA) supports anyone affected by domestic abuse living in the boroughs of Guildford and Waverley.
We provide free, confidential and independent advice, skilled practical help and ongoing emotional support and information. Since 2004, we have helped thousands of survivors living in our local communities to feel empowered and informed to live a life free from domestic abuse harm.

Our services include one to one support, peer and group work, specialist help for children and young people and specific advice for the LGBTQ+ population.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS: 

Headline stats for our service include:
* 897 individuals supported
* 1,339 new referrals
* 221 cases supported through MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference)
* 44 women supported through the Freedom Programme
* 550 professionals trained
* 239 one to one sessions provided to children and young people
