The Bollywood Society in the University of Surrey Students Union is a recently awarded Bronz Star Society aiming to provide quality open dance sessions to all raising out standards and choreography every year with new recruitments of dancers and choreographers and external dancing companies and artists.
Our work has been recognized all over the UK as we have competed in Europes Biggest Bollywood Dance Competition 'Battle of Bollywood' and stood 2nd, Audience Choice & 3rd in the last 3 editions. We have performed in various shows in BBC and have had dance classes all over Surrey and London. Our open sessions are FREE and we occasionally host paid events to give out Charity and contribute to society.
We look for the passion to dance no matter what is taught and when it is taught
We dance and teach dance only with the intention of dancing and promoting Bollywood dance all over the UK and providing platforms for member and others to perform in various opportunities presented to the society.
