Outline is Surrey’s Sexuality and Gender Identity support charity. We need volunteers to provide active listening and signposting support to our Helpline service users.
We are a confidential support service for anyone to contact us, who is struggling with their sexuality and gender identity (sometimes referred to as LGBT+); or those who are supporting someone through their struggles e.g. friends, family, support workers. We provide a Helpline service, website and outreach services to support people struggling with their sexuality and gender identity.
Ideally you will identify as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgender or able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the issues faced by the LGBT+ communities, it’s the support you provide not the label that is important. Volunteers are a vital part of delivering a quality support service.
Volunteers can work remotely from home we offer full training to all our volunteers
