RASASC
Our mission is to support all male and female survivors, from 13, of rape and sexual abuse in Surrey.
ABOUT US:

We are a rape and sexual abuse support centre based in Guildford, we support men and women from the age of 13 across Surrey. We provide support to survivors through our counselling services, helpline, ISVA service, weekly coffee mornings and therapeutic groups.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

Often there is no one for a raped or sexually abused person to turn to, no one with whom to share their feelings. Caring partners or family members have difficulty understanding and coping with the aftermath. Experience has shown it's easier to talk to a skilled person - someone who can be relied upon to listen carefully and empathise with the caller, without making judgements and without re-traumatising the survivor.

RASASC helps survivors find their own path to recovery and helps survivors find confidence to heal in a way that is best for them.

OUR VALUES:
RASASC is a caring, non-judgmental, charitable organisation
THINGS WE ARE PROUD OF:
Our volunteers who support our services
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN OUR PEOPLE:

Empathetic and committed

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT:

We are a small organisation who values our volunteers as they are the backbone of RASASC allowing us to provide counselling and helpline support - two of our main services.
