We know that young people sometimes need some extra help to achieve their full potential, and we believe that providing support outside of school can really help young people to do better in the classroom, while also developing their broader skills. We also believe that learning should be a great adventure! So working together with local schools, families and volunteers, we deliver unique real-world learning projects (such as published books, films, and apps) in our online learning environment.
We believe in the exceptional potential of every child and use the power of positivity and fun to unlock that potential.
Our learning programme is devised and led by qualified teachers. We want children to enjoy reading, so we give them dedicated time to read with trained volunteers. Alongside the chance to voice their ideas in creative writing activities. Then we publish their written work in high-quality books, films, and audio projects, and celebrate their hard work in big events with their teachers and family.

Our Opportunities
As a Volunteer Crewmate, your role is to join our online sessions and help children practise their reading and writing, 1:2 and in small groups to develop their literacy, confidence and perseverance.
