Maggie's helps people take back control when cancer turns life upside down, with support for anything from treatment side effects to money worries. The centres' professional teams provide help and information and run groups and activities, all designed to make coping with cancer easier.
One in two people will develop cancer in their lifetime, so the need for cancer support has never been greater. Maggie’s is needed now more than ever. Last year, the BBC reported that as a result of the pandemic, an additional 35,000 people could die of cancer this year.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers with a pro-active attitude and a passion for support people living with cancer.
