In 2020/21 Crossroads Care Surrey supported more than 3000 unpaid Carers
Crossroads Care Surrey help those who care by providing professional care support services in the home and community.
A Carer is someone who looks after a friend or relative with illness, disability or a medical condition which means they cannot manage on their own. Crossroads Care Surrey offer:
- professional care support for those caring for loved ones with dementia
- professional care support for those caring for young children/adults with learning disability
- end of life or pallitive care
- social clubs in the community for those with 'cared for needs' - see website for further information
- befriending calls or digital befriending through technology
- outreach support in the community (shopping or prescription collection)
There are more than 119,000 unpaid Carers in Surrey and 2 in 3 of us will become cares at some point during our lifetime.
