Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver was established in 1978. We now run our prevention-based mentoring programs in Burnaby, Delta, Surrey, New Westminster, the North Shore, Richmond, the Tri-Cities, and Vancouver.

Our volunteers represent a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and identities, just like the families that we serve. We welcome volunteers, children, and families of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions, including transgender and gender-fluid individuals. Between our different mentoring programs and those of our sister organization, Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, we are committed to finding the right fit for you.
