Brightside is a social mobility organisation that supports young people all over the UK to make confident and informed decisions about their future through mentoring. Using our secure online platform, mentors can communicate directly with their mentees to discuss education and career pathways, raise aspirations and confidence, supporting them during key transition periods. All our mentoring projects take place online, so this is a flexible volunteering opportunity with no travel required - you can contact your mentees from wherever suits you, whenever suits you! It’s also a great opportunity to work directly with the young people who need it most.
Only one in nine children from low income backgrounds get into the top jobs. But that inequality doesn't have to be inevitable. Brightside keeps striving to tackle this social issue through online mentoring.
