The Synergy Outreach Program is a multi-award-winning, Surrey based, grassroots Charity, that stands for excellence and works to address inclusion and accessibility for those marginalised by disability, long term and life limiting conditions and other disadvantage.
Synergy Dance® was founded in 2011. We ran pilots in schools from 2010–13. Since then, Synergy Dance® has provided new and innovative programmes. These are specially designed for schools and leisure centres. Our classes are for children, teenagers, adults and seniors.
We now supply 15 leisure chains and a fast-growing number of schools throughout the UK.
Synergy Dance Outreach provides inclusive opportunities for people to have fun where neither finance, fitness, ability, disability or family circumstance stand as barriers to participation. This presents a starting point for enabling healthy lifestyle choices and the sharing of new skills and knowledge.
Our purpose is to reach those children and adults who may be less suited to team sports and prefer a dance option to keep fit – both in mainstream and disability sectors. We want to help reduce obesity among young people and create volunteer and training opportunities for adults.
Our inclusive Dance Movement classes for SEND and mainstream participants stimulate imaginative dance, build confidence, strengthen co-ordination and nurture a quality environment where participants of all ages can relax, make friends and be creative!
