Surrey Climate Commission
We are an independent body playing a key role in supporting and guiding the transition of the county of Surrey towards a carbon neutral future.
ABOUT US:

As a community interest company, and part of the PCAN network, we are supporting organizations across Surrey on their journey to carbon neutral. The first part of this work was launched in 2021 with the publication of a carbon baseline study for the county produced with the University of Surrey. It identifies the primary causes of emissions in the county and the data is helping to inform grass roots organisations and public sector groups, including Surrey County Council. Our members are drawn from over 50 groups working to protect the climate.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

Our aim is to provide an independent and authoritative voice to all organisations in Surrey, whether they are in the private, public or third sector, helping them contribute to the county reaching its necessary climate target, to avoid the damaging effects of runaway climate change.
