FareShare Volunteer Driver

If you like being out in the community, enjoy driving and are looking to make a difference in your community, we may have the perfect opportunity for you. Our drivers are an amazing troop who enable the food to reach the projects.

What You'll Do: 

This role involves:

Driving either an Electric Automatic Van or a Diesel Van out into the community.

Working alongside your driving assistant, to deliver trays of surplus food to our community food partners.  

Recording van temperatures and carrying out van checks (tyre pressure, making sure indicators work etc). 

Providing a friendly service to the projects that we deliver to. 

Please note you will need to have a driving licence and be over 25 years old.

There will be an assessment carried out by one of our staff members and we will require you to have a DBS check, which we will provide.
