We're looking for students to support the university's new recycling campaign.
We're looking for a committed group of students to support the University's recycling campaign, facilitating engaging pop-ups across campus.
Our first pop-up is schedules for 30th September 12-4pm
During the session you will:
- Learn more about the University's recycling plans
- Creatively engage with staff and students on the importance of recycling, particularly food waste.
- Make a significant impact to the university's own recycling rate.
Not only will you be supporting the university's sustainable journey, but you'll also have a chance to connect with a diverse group of volunteers who make up our powerful student Green Team!
From developing your understanding of recycling, to gaining first-hand expereince working on a sustainable behaviour change campaign, this opportunity is great for anyone wanting to:
- Learn more about the challenges and success of sustainable change in large organisations.
- Develop employability skills in teamwork and communication
No previous experience in sustainability is required. We're looking for people who are:
- passionate about sustainability and want to make a difference
- Willing to take own initiative
- Comfortable speaking to a wide-range of people
- Able to work well in a team
