Happy Baby Community builds safe and resilient communities for pregnant women and women with young children who have fled war, violence and traffickers and seek asylum in the UK. Led by women with lived experience, they support beneficiaries through shared knowledge and understanding. Happy Baby Community provides welfare advice, counselling and development opportunities for mothers and their children so they begin to rebuild their lives.
We facilitate five community groups across London and two online community groups, providing a range of services and support on-site. We provide perinatal and postnatal care, English lessons, food, clothing, children's activities, welfare support, therapy, interpreting services, employment support, and volunteering opportunities.
We provide essential practical and therapeutic support for women and their children seeking international protection in the UK without recourse to public funds.
